Main frontage to bridge Street of the original shop in Imperial Buildings on the east side of Appletongate. by the 1950s Randall's had expanded to such an extent that the shop occupied the whole of Imperial Buildings, presenting an uninterrupted frontage to three of the most important retailing streets in town. The business continued in this location until the 1960s when it moved across the road to No. 3 Appletongate.
