Robin Hood and Little John Inn, Arnold, 1904

Church Street
Arnold
England

The Robin Hood (and) Little John Inn (sic) at the junction of Church Street and Cross Street looking north-west. The various painted signs indicate the proprietor is G Smith and advertise 'Ales Brewed on the Premises', Bass's Ales, Guinness's Stout and 'Bottled by Skinner and Rook'. The Little John element of the pub's title was later dropped, while at some date prior to 1953 the building on the left was demolished, probably to allow the widening of Cross Street.
