This is the building of a school in the centre of town. It housed a day centre, an ice rink, leisure centre, adult education and a school. The school was opened in 1973 with the leisure side opening in 1977. The first headteacher was Stewart Wilson. The day centre was opened in 1974 and in 1978 Social Services started to use part of the complex. After joining with ATT, the school became Sutton Centre Community Academy.
