Epperstone, the out-buildings of Grove Farm, looking north west from Lowdham Lane, near its junction with Gonalston Lane. They are being converted for living accommodation. One of the contractors told me that the building in the foreground was once a mill powered by water from the Dover Beck, the course of which is midst the trees in he left background. As i looked through one of the round glassless windows near ground level the structure below ground level seem to clinch that. For an image of the back view of Grove Farm see NCCK000006.
