32 Kirk Gate
Newark on Trent
England
The hotel on Kirk Gate was another of Newark's once thriving coaching inns. It was brought by Jospeh Gilstrap in 1818 and run by him until its closure in 1853, when the expanding rail network had all but killed the coaching trade. The building is now occupied by the Richard Watkins and Partners estate agency.
