The Exchange Building under the Council House decorated for Christmas 1991. The Shambles once stood where the Exchange Building now stands. It consisted of dimly lit corridors under the old Exchange Building with 66 open butchers stalls standing either side. There were six corridors all with their own names: Exchange Hall Shambles, Langley, Country, Jalland, North and Hancock Shambles.
