Terrace Royal building was established in 1863. The architects were Mr Watson and Mr S Dutton Walker. First residents included 2 surgeons, 2 lace merchants, a Wesleyan clergyman, John Xundella of the Nottingham Manufacturing Company, and George Evans of I and I C Wright's bank. The building has recently been used as offices for Nottingham Trent University.
