Looking south from the entrance to Titchfield Park. Of the two railway bridges, the nearest was constructed in 1911-12 to carry the Great Central Railway operated Mansfield Railway, while the stone arch in the background formed part of the Midland Railway's Mansfield to Southwell branch of 1871. The Mansfield Railway closed in 1967 and the bridge seen here was demolished in August 1970. The Midland line was last used in 1983 and its bridge too was later demolished. Windsors Garage is on the left and features an advertisement for Green Shield Stamps.
