Looking south showing demolition of the plate girder bridge that carried the ex-Midland Railway branch from Mansfield to Southwell over Littleworth. This line was opened in 1871 and closed in 1983. In this view the demolition contractors have removed the north side girder and a crane is being used to lift out a section of the decking.
