Demolition of houses on West Street

The houses were demolished for the new road by Asda Supermarket. When these houses where demolished the space was used for some years as a car park and it was only in recent times that the area was redeveloped and Asda supermarket was built. The end wall of the White Lion public house can be seen, number 45 is the nearest house which has a low garden wall at the front of the house.
