This chalice probably dates from the early 19th century, with a new base from 1879. It was used by early Methodists in Retford. The inscription reads 'This cup used by the early Methodists formerly worshipping in Spa Lane Chapel, Retford was presented to the Rockley Chapel Trustees by Alderman Jenkinson, Retford, August 13th 1879.'
