This picture shows Grove Mill alongside the Chesterfield Canal. The advert on the building on the far right reads 'use Major Oak self raising flour'. The building is now a snooker hall. Behind the mill in the photograph you can see the gasometer, which was demolished in the 1970s(?) when north sea gas was introduced.
