This is more commonly known as South Lodge. The buck gates date from the late 18th or early 19th century, and have good 18th century lead statues of bucks. The buck gates were re-erected on a new site in 1959. Robert White in his 'Worksop, the Dukery and Sherwood Forest' (1875) comments 'The park includes an area of about thirteen miles in circumference, and it contains an unusually large quantity of deer.'
