The ex-Great Northern Railway engine shed at Retford looking south-east. B1 and O2 Class locomotives are present. Retford had two locomotive sheds, one built by the Great Central Railway at Thrumpton and the other built by the GNR on the west side of the London-Edinburgh main line, adjacent to Retford station. Note the small boys racing across the shed yard.
