Plaque reads: "1922 - The Robinson Memorial Homes - These homes were built and endowed by Sir John Robinson KT of Worksop Manor, in memory of his only son John Sandford Robinson, born February 5th 1868, died April 21st 1898. Four homes built for the accommodation of ex-service men, wounded or disabled in the Great War, of good character and conduct, who were resident in the town of Worksop."
