No's 1,2,3, and 4, looking NW. The whole of the buildings were once maltings. After conversion to dwellings, no 1 was once the butchers shop, the section beside the car being used as the slaughter house. It then became the garage. Outside the door of no 3 is Mr Worley, the occupier at that time (who supplied Reg Baker, the photographer, with the aforesaid information)
