Looking along Main Street showing a horse and trap in the foreground. In the centre left of the photograph is the Methodist Chapel, which was demolished in 1984), then the Nags Head Inn. To the centre rights in the Wesleyan Chapel Hall built in 1829 and demolished in 1983, the John Bley's House. John Bley was a wealthy local benefactor who gave money to found the school for poor boys and girls of the Parish, and is buried in St Mary's Churchyard.
