Looking along Chilwell Road in Beeston, showing the Parish Church of St John the Baptist at the end of the road on the right. The church was rebuilt in 1843-4 by Scott and Moffatt, after the old church was demolished. The tall spire belongs to the Methodist Church, built in Gothic Style by W J Morley in 1902.
