Showing the stone parapets on the south side of the old Gunthorpe Bridge, located on the north side of Trent Lane. A wrought iron traverse was opened in 1875 and demolished after the opening of the present Gunthorpe Bridge in November 1927. The new bridge was built 433 yards upstream from the old one.
