Railway Bridge to the rear of Main Street

This view shows the railway bridge over Hungary Lane, looking west. Underneath the railway bridge it can be seen from the brickwork that the bridge has been widened on the far side. This was done in 1892 when the original two tracks were increased to four between Wigston and Trent Junction. The bridge carries the London St Pancras to Nottingham line.
