As seen from the west end of Beeston Station. Dovecote Lane was formerly Rylands Road, it terminates here but a footbridge links it with Trent Road on the south side of the railway. A foundation stone is laid each side of the doorway. The one seen is inscribed 'Laid by G. L. Blackhall Esq. Director of Ind. Coope Company Ltd., June 1899'. (Reg Baker)
