As seen from site of Ladybay Bridge, looking west towards Trent Bridge. The cranes on the left are engaged in construction of a block of flats on the north-east corner of Trent Bridge Cricket Ground. The plate-girder traverse was demolished Sunday September 8th 1974 and the buttresses and immediate sections of the embankments on Sunday 15th September 1974. (Reg Baker)
