The Corner Building is on the site of one destroyed by a bomb on the night of the Blitz, 8th and 9th May, 1941. View is looking south-west from Rushworth Avenue (on right). On the left is Millicent Road and the Friary Congregational which at the time of the photograph was United Reformed Church.
