The Square ?
Beeston
England
This firm was bought out around 1912 by Ginever's Funeral Company now based in Middle Street. Wright's 1910-1911 directory has W&G Oldham on Middle Street listed as Cab Propritors, Coal Merchants and Goods Removers as well as funeral directors. The man controlling the horses on the front carriage is Joseph Oldham. Note the sign advertising Beeston Library in the centre of the image; this would have been a private subscription library as we know at least one in the town, existing from early Victorian times. Please note that due to donated scanned-image size, this photo may not reporoduce clearly larger than A4.
