The almshouses were built by Mrs Catherine Peatfield, youngest daughter of Clifford and Catherine Caunt of West Bridgford, and widow of the Rev. John Peatfield. Rev. Peatfield was the Curate in charge of the Parish for 29 years. See also NCCS000279.
