The fountain was presented by The Countess of Carnarvon in 1874 and is adjacent to the All Hallows Church. The water was pumped from Allwell Spring in the Lambley Dumbles.

    The picture is labelled Travellers rest PH. The building is not and never has been a PH it is a private house on Willow lane and still exists today. The travellers Rest PH is on Mapperley Top
