Anglo-Norman Tympanum in the south side of the tower, St Mary and All Saints' Church. The design is very primitive, harking back to provincial decoration of the pre-Norman period. It depicts two figures on either side of a saxon style cross with an inscription that says 'Gauterus et uxor eius Cecilina fecerunt facere ecclesiasm istam..' See also NCCS001390.
