The school was founded in 1813 as Abbey National School and was known from 1884 as Castle Hill Infants. The premises pictured opened in 1895 and was also owned by the Priory. It changed its name to St Annes in 1925. The Infants moved in 1971 and the Juniors in 1991 to new premises on Harrington Street.
