The school opened in 1843 as a Wesleyan Day School and then became the Guildhall with the Infants becoming Oliver Quibell Infants (named after a mayor of the town) from the mid-1950s. This view shows the main entrance, the parked cars including a Mini Minor, a Vauxhall, and a Mini Countryman, all registered in the period 1966-70.
