Guildhall Street
Newark on Trent
England
The school opened in 1843 as a Wesleyan Day School and then became the Guildhall with the Infants becoming Oliver Quibell Infants (named after a mayor of the town) from the mid-1950s. This view shows the front elevation with evidence of recent demolition work. The very rough car park is occupied by a couple of Ford Cortinas, an Austin 1100, a Hillman Avenger, and a Vauxhall, all registered in the period 1966-73.
