The school opened in 1843 as a Wesleyan Day School and then became the Guildhall with the Infants becoming Oliver Quibell Infants (named after a mayor of the town) from the mid-1950s. This interior view shows the Staff Room with its gothic style window. The door on the left led to the staff toilet, which was adjacent to the drink making area.
