View from the garden of the Station Master's house showing the footpath access to the station from Queen Street end. An entrance and exit to a subway was later built where the tree stands on the embankment, to the left of the footpath, this being for the use of the miners going to and returning from work by 'paddy trains' to avoid the main entrance.
