Showing the New Cross area of Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield. Outram Street was originally called Tenter Lane, but was renamed in 1870 in memory of Mr E Outram, a local landowner and farmer. The New Cross Hotel (formerly the Dew Drop Inn) was one of the first buildings to be constructed on Tenter Lane (in 1869).
