Nurses training centre. This hospital had been officially opened by the Duchess of York the future Queen Elizabeth, consort of King George VI, and mother of the present Queen Elizabeth II, when she visited Mansfield on the 4th August 1929. It was closed in 1995, demolished and housing is to be built on the site.
