Sandra Trigg and Nigel Hennessy in the Old Maltings showing the re-discovery of a well. The Maltings were one of the last Malt Houses in Mansfield, once owned by William Broadhurst whom was said to be the largest maltser in England, subsequently owned by Addison Titley who became a partner in the Mansfield Brewery in 1873. The building closed down in 1975 when the brewery stopped making its own malt.
