The winner of the Beauty Pageant being awarded with her trophy by Acker Bilk, the jazz musician. Somerset-born Acker became world famous in May 1962 when he became the first British artist to top the US pop music charts. He was recently honoured with an MBE for services to music. This Pageant took place during the local Beer Festival.
