Showing the site from Station road looking across the railway line to Wigwam Lane. Bowmer and Kirkland commenced work on the new multi-million pound Tesco Superstore on the former colliery site at Hucknall , on the week commencing 11th November 2002. The Tesco Store, which includes a Petrol Filling Station was due for completion in the spring of 2003 and is the first in the re-development of the old colliery site. Work has also begun here on the link road which connects Portland Road with Station Road. You can also see the station park and ride carpark which serves the Robin Hood Line.
