Showing the site from Station road. Bowmer and Kirkland commenced work on the new multi-million pound Tesco Superstore on the former colliery site at Hucknall , on the week commencing 11th November 2002. The Tesco Store, which includes a Petrol Filling Station was due for completion in the spring of 2003 and is the first in the re-development of the old colliery site. Work was also begun here on the link road which connects Portland Road with Station Road.
