Built around 1780, this building was formerly the home of Sir John Turney, founder of Turney Bros. leather works, at Trent Bridge, and twice Mayor of Nottingham. It was at this time headquarters of Nottinghamshire County Council Educational Resources Department. This view shows the south front from the south east corner of the grounds.
