Arnold Library Lane
Gedling
England
The fountain was a gift to the people of Gedling from the Countess of Carnarvon in 1874. Situated at the junction of Arnold Library Lane and Main Road. It formerly stood in the centre of the road where Gedling Road also joins Main Road, but due to increased traffic was moved to the east side of Arnold Library Lane. The fountain is now waterless. In the centre was a tap, with a metal cup attached with a chain, for humans, the large basin at the bottom was for horses and the small basin in the front was for dogs.
