Showing the 'sister building' to Park House, which was on the opposite side of Burton Road (formerly known as Main Street). It was built by builder John Lewin for Samuel Issac Godfrey, a lace manufacturer on High Pavement trading under the name of 'Godfrey Brothers'. It was built in 1905 and demolished in 1997. Park House, the former home of his brother John Godfrey, was built in 1909 and demolished in 2004. (Additional information kindly supplied by Angela Keyworth - Great Granddaughter of John Godfrey).
