Formerly known as Park House, it was built for John and Emma Godfrey, who moved from 'Holly Bank' on Greenhill Rise to Park House on 30 September 1909. The architect was W H Higginbottom and the builder J Lewin. (Information very kindly supplied by Angela Keyworth).
