St Lawrence's stands at the junction of Pecks Hill and Skerry Hill. The foundation stone was laid by the Duchess of Portland in October 1908. It was dedicated on 5 September 1909. Across the road stands the Church hall, and 'The Treasury' Parish Centre is at the bottom of Bolsover Street.
