The level crossing from the north side. This is on the Staythorpe to Rolleston Road. The train is an empty mineral en route to East Midland Collieries from the Staythorpe Power Station. The wagons will be reloaded with coal slag and returned to the Power Station. The waiting tanker lorry has been loaded with ash at the disposal plant. The Nottingham to Lincoln line was opened in 1846.
