Looking S.E. from the graveyard. This small church originally has architecture dating back to the Norman Period, but was probably rebuilt in the 14th century. The church was reduced in size at some point in the 18th century (Pevsner), and the west bell turret was added in 1890. At the time of the photo, the church was redundant (having closed in c 1976) and services were being held in the ex-village school.
