Westinghouse Airlock Control Plant. Top level airlock showing two empty tubs passing to pit-top over pneumatic controlled points, which change from one road to the other as doors close and open. The banksman, however, can at will, change this automatic arrangement by means of a special valve. Note the auxiliary valves and check valves on the wall, spring-loaded tub stops inside airlock, axle counter and point cylinders.
