This view was taken from the south west and shows Villa Street in the background. This was the house of Mr Wood who had a blacksmith shop and farriers at the rear, up until the early 1960's he used to shoe the police horses that were stabled at Wollaton Hall until they relocated to Sherwood Lodge (information from Derek Cox, local resident).
