Taylder's dates from the early Eighteenth century. The ground floor has two-roomed cottages, with an entrance on one side only, while top floor was used for textile manufacture. Constructed of Mansfield stone, it was originally a mill powered by stream water which flows alongside the north side of the building. Whilst the church notice board is in the garden of the first house, the church is beyond the edge of the photo.
