A K3 class mixed traffic loco heads East with a fitted freight. Note the water column on the left, the unusual position of the signal viewed over the train and the shelter on the platform which housed the levers for controlling the 'crossover'. The crossover was removed in 1965 after the Worksop-Nottingham service ceased. A horsebox can be seen in the cattle dock siding.
