Exact location not known, possibly Church Rock Cemetery caves. If you know the location of these, please contact us using the add information button, thanks.One possible location was next to or very close to St Andrews Church on the opposite side of the road to the Church cemetery. Access was gained by a metal gate set into the garden wall on Mansfield Road which it is believed is still there. Other caves were accessed though a green grocers shop called Onions. The shop was on Mansfield rd on the left hand side coming up from the town centre, approximately opposite the junction with Huntindon Street. (Information kindly supplied by Malcolm Sprake).
